we found some difficulties to control the light at the beginning, because too much space will destroy the shadow while too much space may block the light. As a result, the way like this can satisfy the requirement.
Rough Model
We had problem to connect the cubes strongly. Steel hinge is too big which make obvious gap between cube. Finally, we come to the solution of using the elastic.
